“To be loved but now known is comforting but superficial. To
be known and not loved is our greatest fear. But to be fully known and truly
loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God. It is what we need more than
anything. It liberates us from prestige, humbles us out of our
self-righteousness, and fortifies us for any difficulty life can throw at us.”
Tim Keller
We all have insecurities and fears. A lot of us fear what
other people think of us while others fear being unloved. A lot of our fears
and insecurities are rooted in our inability to love ourselves. When we truly
allow ourselves to be ourselves and love ourselves for us can we be liberated.
When we get outside of the bubble of our insecurities do we realize our
arrogance and self-righteousness we had possessed. Once we are outside of the
bubble we become stronger and are able to overcome obstacles we face in life.
