Everyone wants to believe that they are infallible but the
reality is that we all have something to work on. I am an intelligent person
but I am not perfect and I know that. I know that I do not know everything
and there will be times when people will criticize my work.
People are naturally defensive when others criticize their
work. However, I think that while people should take great pride in their work
they should not be so defensive when people critique it. People need to
understand that they will never please everyone and that is okay. Also without
criticism you will never get better. When people give you criticism, whether
good or bad, it helps you to grow by knowing what people have a positive or
negative response too.
I have learned a lot from people criticisms. I have learned
to not be so sensitive when people have something to say about my work and to
be open to what they have to say. When you are open to other people’s views and
ideas it allows you to improve yourself and helps you to be better.
Are you to sensitive to people’s criticism? Do you need to
be more open to other people’s point of view? Have you learned something as a
result of someone else’s criticism?
