When you were younger your parents probably told you that
there are different types of people in this world: the wanters, the wishers,
and the doers. The people who want are the individuals who always want what
others have. The wishers are the people who want something to happen but they
want to wish it into existence and not work for it. The doers are the people
who actively work toward their goals.
I have recently noticed that the wanters and wishers are
often very opinionated about other peoples accomplishments. These are the
people who make comments like: “That was just luck” or “You did not earn that.”
These people and their negativity have been really loud recently. What I mean
by that is you will frequently see them on social media complaining about what
they do not have or what they wish would happen but their complaining is much
louder than the positive things in the world.
We all need to be louder than the negativity. People often
feel guilty for sharing the good things in life or their achievements because
it can be seen as bragging. If you are bringing positivity to the world and are
drowning out the negativity you are not bragging.
Nothing happens by accident. Every event happens due to an
individuals action. If you want something, work for it. People need to stop
complaining and feeling like the world owes them something.
Do you think the negativity is louder than the positivity?
What can you do to improve it?
