It is hard
to believe that 2017 is already over. I feel like this has been a weird year
for me. It was not a terrible year but I also do not feel like it was an
extraordinary year either. Looking back on 2017, my biggest accomplishments are
related to self-awareness and growth. Throughout 2017 I have faced a number of
challenges and in order to overcome them I had to know myself really well. I
pushed myself farther than I thought I could. I also met some people along the
way who feel like they have been a part of my life for years.
I am really excited for 2018. I am setting some lofty goals for myself this year. I am determined to achieve my goals. Here are my 18 goals of 2018.
- Graduate on time
- Finish my guided journaling project
- Read 52 books (breaks down to 1 a week)
- Redesign my blog
- Start a YouTube channel
- Take more pictures and edit them for my blog
- Be more active on social media
- Go out of my way to experience new things (a minimum of once a month)
- Write in my journal more (everyday if possible)
- Eat healthier
- Create an exercise plan and stick to it
- Meal prep
- Go to more concerts
- Go on a road trip
- Do not sit idly
- Spend more time outside
- Get up at the same time everyday (goal is 5:30am)
- Use my phone for my schedule instead of a paper planner
2018 is
going to be my most ambitious year yet. 2018 is my year to thrive and do
everything I ever wanted to do. Everything you do has to be intentional and on
purpose if you want to achieve your goals. Do not be afraid to set lofty goals.
Lofty goals are intimidating and they push you harder than you ever thought.
Even if you do not fully achieve those lofty goals you at least started the
journey and that puts you ahead of everyone who never started. It is time to
conquer 2018!
