There has been so much going on lately, so much violence,
anger, and hatred can be found everywhere you turn. People are getting upset
about things that don't truly matter. There are people getting angry about a
scratch on their car while other people are trying to figure out where their
next meal is coming from. People start a fight because someone looked at them
funny while there are others fighting for their lives. It's all about perspective.
None of us are born with anger, hatred, or violence in our hearts, these are
learned behaviors. For me it is difficult to comprehend how someone can have so
much anger and hatred in their heart to lash out at another human being.
It is time to break the cycle. Take a step back and get
perspective on your situation. Anger, violence, and hatred are a waste of
energy. I know it can be difficult to take that step back especially if someone
has really hurt you; however, it makes all the difference. I have been able to
walk away from a lot of situations that would have made me really upset and
know that it's not worth getting worked up about. We spend so much time,
energy, and stress being angry that we do not focus on what is truly important.
What has had you angry, hateful, or violet? How can you
rectify the situation? Are you able to walk away? What can you do to be able to
walk away?
