When no one is watching you, do you act the same? Would you
make the same choices? If someone accidentally left money somewhere, what would
you do? Most of us would say we would return it to them. But if you thought no
one was watching would you?
I came across this social experiment by Adrian Gee on
YouTube. I found it really interesting how people either returned the money or
denied knowing anything about it. Their responses were their honest responses
as they were unaware everything was being filmed. This is a good example of
what we do when we think no one is watching.
When we think no one is watching we may think it is okay to make
decisions that diminishes our character. We should not be our best only when we
know people are watching. Our actions are a direct representation of who we are
and we should make every choice like the world is watching.
Can you live with your decisions? Or would you be embarrassed
if people knew? We all can make improvements. What can you do to be better?
