I went to a corn maze this weekend with a group of friends. We
had fun being able to unwind a little bit, have some good laughs, and just step
away from the world for a while. Corn mazes in general can be tricky even with
a map. Every turn and choice you make either brings you closer or farther from
your goal. When going through the maze you need to work together to make your
way out of the maze.
Corn mazes are just like life. You have to make decisions
that will directly impact your future and your goals. Even with a map it is
really easy to get turned around and confused. But in life there is no map,
GPS, or short cuts. You can go in with a strategy but plans do not always work
as intended. Going through life you need to surround yourself with good people
so you can help each other when you get lost and help each other get back on
the right path.
We are all in the maze of life. Life has no rules or
guidelines. We will get lost, turned around, frustrated, and confused more than
once. Surround yourself with people who support you and you can trust to stumble
through the maze of life with you. Going through this maze alone can get really
lonely and frustrating at times. If we allow ourselves to lean on our friends
when we are lost and confused it makes life a little more bearable. Do not go
through this maze on your own. Bring people with you on this journey. The
obstacles and challenges will make you strong and bring you closer. But most
importantly do not forget to enjoy the experience.
